Welcome to our website! SEPTEMBER EVENTS School reopening: Most parents, and some children too, are ready for the new school season to begin. We will have a nice assortment of "back to school" vases, arrangements and dish gardens to send to those school employees to wish them well for the new school year. It is helpful to us if you can order early!! Grandparent's Day: September 7 is the day to remember your grandparents for their love and care. Patriot Day: In remembrance of the attacks on our country on September 11, 2001. Pause for a few moments in memory of the thousands of people who were killed on that day and pray that our great country is protected from further terrorist attacks. Pre-inventory sale: From September 15 through September 26, we will be running our annual pre-inventory sale. This is a good time to get started on your Christmas gift list. We have so much beautiful merchandise--lots more than is possible to display on our website and too much to count. It's a win-win; we discount the merchandise so we don't have to count it, and you save because the discounts are deep. Autumn begins officially on September 22, but the cool nights and turning leaves tell us that it is already on the way. Our fall merchandise is making way to our showroom displays; rich, colorful items to help you set the tone for what we hope to be a beautiful autumn season. Thank you, God, for the beauty of the change of seasons!! Rosh Hashanah: The Jewish New Year begins at sundown on September 29 and lasts through sundown on October 1. Floral arrangements celebrating the new year must arrive before sunset on September 29. Order early please! OCTOBER EVENTS NYCC Community Awareness Day: We will again take part in this fun day when the students and staff at NYCC get to meet some of the local merchants to learn what we have to offer; this year's date is October 2. Yom Kippur: October 9 is the holiest of holy days in the Jewish tradition. We wish all of our Jewish friends a prayerful day. Columbus Day: October 13 celebrates the arrival of Christopher Columbus to America in 1492. How blessed are we who live in this great country of ours!!! National Bosses Day: October 16 honors Bosses; hopefully most of them are wonderful people who deserve to be honored. We will be offering vases, arrangements, desk planters, and gift baskets. Please order early! Halloween: Friday, October 31, is the scariest day of the year. We'll have treats for visitors and creative arrangements to help celebrations become more festive. Remember, order early!
